TTT-Workshop in Milan

Milan, 16.11.2024

Last week, Cybion GmbH organized a TTT-Workshop and Training course at the renowned IRCCS Gruppo MultiMedica Hospital in Milan, Italy.
Professor Enrico Brocco, Director of the Interhospital Diabetology/ Diabetic foot Unit, introduced the 3 guest surgeons from Switzerland and Germany to the minimally invasive Transverse Tibia Transport (TTT)-Surgery.

The program was a combination of a hands-on workshop and the participation in a live TTT-Surgery together with Professor Brocco.
During the TTT-Training Brocco also shared his impressive results with this unique treatment concept to prevent major amputations in so-called no-option patients.
The surgeons were very pleased and would like to offer this treatment to their Diabetic Foot Ulcer (DFU) patients.
The TTT-Treatment promotes the self-regenerative protential of living tissue and, above all, neo-vascularization.
During the Treatment, the body generates stem cells and growth factors. The effect is not only locally, but also systemic.
Due to its versatility, the system is particularly suitable for Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU), Trombangitis obliterans (TAO) or Buerger's disease and Arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO).

The TTT procedure gives patients a significantly higher chance of limb preservation and wound healing. In many cases, this stimulation significantly accelerates wound healing and drastically reduces pain.
Cybion would like to give special thanks to Professor Brocco, as well as to our business partners for Switzerland, Curmed AG, who also participated in this workshop, and to our business partner for Italy, Biomedica Italia Srl, for coordinating the visit.
